Hi all, this is my first post and I'm a newbie to CNC machining.
I have a Harrison Alpha 330s plus and have been using it in manual and conversational mode and am very pleased with it.
I am now trying to use it in full CNC mode but I am having trouble with the work offset and workshift settings.
Firstly there is no work offset soft key (it's blank), although in the manual there is, it seems to have dissapeared! Is there a way of reinstating it? Via the parameters Maybe?
But there is a work shift key and I have set the Z to zero on the stock and this is reflected in the absolute positions on the position page.
I have deleted out the G54 in the part program and that has got rid of the incorrect G code alarm.
Has anyone got an idiots guide how to set tool offsets and set the workshift as I seem to be struggling to set these correctly.Last edited by Sucram; 16-12-2019 at 03:50 PM.
