Thread: Greetings all!

    Hi all,
I started my formal career in CAD/CAM/CNC in 1985. My machining education began when I was eight sweeping chips in my father’s injection mold shop in (ahem) 1972.
I left the industry (aerospace 5-axis contractor, injection mold tool and die, and automotive surfacing) in the 90’s.
Leaving the shop floor my career shifted to programming, sales, digital tool automation and product design.
Lately I’ve been working in cloud, but have been aching to get my hands dirty again.
I’ll add more as I go, but basically I’m building a five axis contouring cnc mill/laser engraver in my spare time and will share all in upcoming posts and questions!
    So much has changed.
Looking forward to getting to know you all.
    Richard
