Picked this one up last year for a rebuild project. I did initially decide to keep a log but really couldnt be bothered so here is a quicky.
Photos below of the machine when it arrived and I started to strip it.
Had to get new gears for the knee gearbox and make several new nuts and bits for the table screws. New motor and control gear fitted. Modified the pulleys so that they could be fitted with torlocks and also had to make a new belt tensioner. Also had to make a new drawbar and bore out the quill shaft to take a 10mm drawbar.
I have plans to motorise the long table feed but need to look at it further.

Wheres the steppers ?
looks brilliant, another one saved from scrap man. Well done.If the nagging gets really bad......Get a bigger shed:naughty:

Looks lovely now, nice colour too. Leave the steppers for now - at least it will cut ally (or anything else).Green with envy.Great job. G.

Thanks for the comments guys. It was a nice little project to work on. I dont think I will cnc it, a power feed on the table will do me I think.
