Thread: A Question of Collets

Okay folks,
Been busy (which is sort of good as it has been starting to work on client projects).
The Questions are this: I have been lead to believe that Kress collets are near to or of the same family as ER collets. Therefore:
- If the above statement is true which ER collet nut will fit a FME1050 Kress Spindle if anyone knows? I mean work safety with NOT a half arsed rigging that could come apart at the wrong time for al the worng reasons.
- If there is such where in your opinion is the best place to get quality collets to do the job? Low TIR is very important as this is work for custom Harmonicas and Concertinas, .25mm is max allowable total error.
On a different point any suggestions on spindle mounted dust vacs for a Kress mounted to one of Kevin Marchants Router tables? have been loking at a few and would just like in put as I have always gotten good food for thought from you folks.
Thanks and lok forward to the responses.

Kress collets and nuts are special to Kress.
Best place to get these is from Lester Caine, better pricing and service.
