Thread: SBR16UU Centre hole.

Hello All,
I have a set of SBR16UU linear bearing blocks. There are four mounting holes and in the centre a set screw.
Before I mount the bearings, I want to know if I need access to the set screw. What is it for? I suspect it is for removing the
linear bearing from the mounting block. But it could be for some kind of adjustment (I think this is unlikely but worth asking
before I make the screw completely inaccessible. Thanks for any help.
Neil.

Thanks Jonathan, That implies that I can cover the central hole and not regret it later when I have to strip the machine the down to make an adjustment.
